Vice President Healthcare Operations

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Vice President of Correctional Health Services which has the authority, responsibility, and accountability for the leadership and guidance of nursing and health services throughout correctional operations.

As part of the senior management team, this position oversees and reports on all health services operations occurring at the regional and facility level. This position provides professional expertise and guidance in clinical operations to Corporate Staff, Regional Vice Presidents, Regional Health Services Directors, Wardens and Facility Administrators.

YOU MUST COME FROM A LARGE HEALTHCARE ENVIRONMENT (Rehab, Psych, Hospital, Clinic or Correctional) WITH MULTI-LOCATION RESPONSIBILITIES

COMPENSATION:  

• $150,000 to $200,000 plus 25% bonus potential.

REQUIREMENTS:

• These requirements are a MUST. Please respond ONLY if you meet all of them.
• Masters degree in nursing (preferred) or related field (will consider BS if experience warrants)
• Minimum 15 years exp. in a correctional, psychiatric or secure forensic facility
• At least 10 years progressive administrative experience in managerial nursing, mental health care and/or residential administration
• Extensive knowledge of hospital and correctional standards, including regulatory agency requirements (i.e. JCAHO, NCCHC and the ACA).
• A working knowledge of CDC, state and federal health regulatory laws, objectives and policies, procedures and requirements for managing correctional, secure forensic and/or mental health facilities as demonstrated by having a combination of relevant work, education and research experience.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
• You come from a hospital or healthcare organization with multi-location responsibilities
• Medical/clinical background (e.g. healthcare professional with corporate administrative experience) in a large multiple facility organization

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS:

• Reports directly to the President
• Two direct reports – Corporate Directors
• All Regional Directors, Health Service Administrators all of Medical Service Operations report up through this position
